The Results
Instagram Follower Growth
From October 24 to April 25, we generated 653 new followers on Instagram, purely through organic content. We did this by putting emphasis on shareable content and through giveaways where we were able to collaborate with other audiences.
Increased Instagram Engagement
Engagement on Instagram increased by 54%, with an average engagement metric of 90 reactions per post. Over a full 6 months we generated 13K engagements on Instagram purely through organic content posting.
Increase in website clicks from Facebook
In total we generated 6K clicks through to the MoneyMagpie website from organic Facebook posts. We used a mixture of giveaways where users were required to engage with website content, as well as adding further value to our posts that could only be found through the site.
The Challenge
MoneyMagpie were active on Facebook and Instagram, however posting on both channels every day, as well as delivering demanding content plans on other marketing channels, was becoming too much for the marketing team to manage alone. They came to us looking for some support with maintaining their strategy, as well as improving clicks through to their website and engagement.

What we delivered
We developed content plans across Instagram and Facebook that were focused on building a community of money-conscious followers who we could regularly update with money saving tips, offers, and giveaways.
We included news teaser posts to encourage users to read articles on the MoneyMagpie site, as well as creating exclusive offers that prompted comments and shares to boost engagement.
We mapped out content one month in advance as well as planning campaigns for the quarter so that the strategy was easily managable. We worked with various teams within the business to collate the content and data needed, working as a true extension of the marketing team.
